Holistic health

 it means the combination of all dimension of health like mental health, social health, physical health, moral-spiritual health.

Health is a well-being of our body, the mind, your relationship to your family, peers, others and to our Creator. On the other hand it means it is getting to a state to the fullest of your health. It is based on the dimensions of holistic which will truly will give you true health.

To be truly healthy one should balance all dimensions of holistic health.

The Dimensions of Holistic Health

1. Physical health - it is how well your body functions

a. getting enough exercise
b. having a balanced diet
c. keeping problems checked
d. getting adequate rest
e. going to doctor/dentist for check ups

2. Mental health - it means we are a lifelong learner. We tend to learn new things. As we grow older we can solve more complicated problems or game perhaps.

ex. Teenagers learns how to play basketball during a basketball camp.

3. Emotional health - it means understanding yourself and learning from mistakes. It also illustrate how we handle problems and stress that everyday life offer us.

The five dimensions of holistic health are interrelated. A person is affected physically if food and shelter are not fully satisfied. This individual will also be affected emotionally as she/he may feel inadequate, insecure, and unsafe. And how will this affect the mental health of the person? Anxiety may develop when individuals are worrying about their condition. Relationship with family, friends, and with others may suffer also when a person is not contented and his/her longing for love and affection is not met. When the physical, mental,
emotional, and social needs are not fulfilled, a person may resort to unethical behaviour to satisfy his/her basic needs.
